current sermon series!
Known for being the longest Psalm in the songbook of ancient Israel, Psalm 119 emphasizes a passionate love for the law of the Lord and beautifully articulates this by being written in the form of a 22-section acrostic corresponding to every letter of the Hebrew alphabet. We are excited to begin a new adventure by delving into every one of the 176 facets which compose the diamond of this psalm. Through it and through His working Spirit, we collectively seek to learn to better enjoy God, delight in Him, and welcome Him to reform us in His likeness in the world.
We hope you will join us!

fbc crestwood & bridge bread
Recently, our church has partnered with Bridge Bread ministries, whose purpose is being…
“… St. Louis’ only non-profit social enterprise that empowers individuals experiencing homelessness by providing meaningful work and marketable baking skills, permanent restorative employment, and financial assistance for housing. We believe everyone deserves a chance to build a dignified life. Through our restorative employment and unique Housing Incentive Program, we equip our bakers with the tools and resources they need to achieve self-sufficiency and become contributing members of our community again. Bridge Bread is more than just a bakery – it’s a doorway to a hopeful and brighter future.”
The current plan for First Baptist Church of Crestwood is to submit a bread order on the last Wednesday of the month, with the order to be filled and delivered on the subsequent Sunday after church. We will communicate updates in First Edition and through the church email list. Place your order on our church event at https://bridgebread.org/.
